DOES YOUR COMPANY PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH STRATEGIC CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19 IMPACTS?

Yes!  This is a great time to engage us for Opportunity Analysis.  We will meet with you, identify what impacts are present, and together design a plan of action.

Keep in mind that change - any change - is disruptive.  If you just want our ideas and recommendations in a report, we can do that, or we can help implement changes while mitigating change disruption.  The choice is yours.

COVID-19 has affected everyone in different ways, but there is one constant: the need to embrace change and try things that you may never have thought were possible or practical.  You also might find that your users are happier as a result if you keep the changes for the long term.

HOW IS MEGA SOLUTIONS LLC DIFFERENT THAN COMPETITOR SERVICE PROVIDERS?

Great question.

Fact: all service providers that offer business process improvement and related services ultimately do the same thing in different ways, and for different reasons.  Where we differ is with three main factors that you will want to measure when seeking a provider.

Level of Comfort.  While experience matters, it's only one factor.  How comfortable is the provider when answering your questions?  Does it feel as though they are always able to provide you a level of certainty when addressing business challenges and solutions, or do they seem unsure of themselves?

Level of Engagement.  When you contact a provider, how easy and quickly do you reach someone to speak to about your business problem?  How well do they understand your tolerance for follow-up cadence?  Do they check in with you periodically to see how your business is going and whether there's anything additional they can help with?

Level of Expertise.  This is saved for last for good reason.  Experience certainly matters.  But the relationship, the consideration, the engagement, and the desire to see you succeed is invaluable.  The experience should then come into play to ensure that the above is not wasted; that the provider is ultimately able to deliver what they promised.

HOW DO YOU CUSTOMIZE YOUR SERVICES FOR NICHE OR SMALLER COMPANIES?

For the most part, we don't target - or exclude - businesses of any size or structure.  Federal government entities that require security clearance are off-limits, but anyone else can leverage at least one of our services.

If your business is considered 'specialty' or 'niche' compared to others in your vertical market, we start with Opportunity Analysis so we can understand these differences.  Chances are strong that we'll find connections to the vertical market that open up ideas for streamlining processes.

For example, an oil rig business likely will not be able to improve its core process very much more than they already do, but their back office operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.) are often rife with inefficiencies that can help streamline the front office operations.

BUDGETS ARE TIGHT, MOSTLY DUE TO COVID-19, BUT ALWAYS CONSERVATIVELY CREATED.  CAN WE STILL USE YOUR SERVICE?

We'd be disappointed if you didn't.  Because you're the exact type of business we believe we can most help.

Budgets come down to three things.

Money You Must Spend.  Taxes, Fees, Fines, Property, Utilities, etc.  We likely can't help much here.

Money You Choose To Spend.  Salaries (yes, you choose to spend on salaries), supplies, accessories (i.e. break room), comfort (i.e. furniture), software, hardware, time (yes, time is money), etc.  This is 'low-hanging fruit' as we like to say in the industry, because it's not about stopping this spend, it's about optimizing it to achieve the same or similar outcomes with a cost savings.

Money You Don't Yet Have.  Revenue.  Profit.  Customers that haven't bought from or transacted with you yet.  You still project an expected amount of money in your budget.  But what happens during situations like COVID-19 where you're not able to count on that stream?  This ties into other concepts such as business continuity planning, which is something else we can discuss with you.

Of course, we charge for our service, but as you'll see in our Billing model, we take pride in offering multiple payment strategies to accommodate almost every situation.  

HOW DOES YOUR COMPANY WORK WITH BUSINESSES OF DIFFERENT SIZES?

To answer this let's define the business sizes, from our perspective.

Small business (< 100 employees). 

This might be a business that is still in 'growth mode' or simply doesn't need more workers than it has.  But we find that small businesses are the most likely to embrace change throughout the organization, especially if they're still adjusting to the state of their industry.  Starting with a good Opportunity Analysis is likely to yield all sorts of candidates for positive change.


If profits are down, they are less likely to invest in anything new unless they have help paying for it.  These businesses were the inspiration behind our Agility Billing model, because it allows them to get powerful results with almost immediate return on investment, or ROI.  

Medium business (100 - 500 employees)

These are businesses that already have robust processes and a clear hierarchy, with delegation of key functions.  In most cases, budgets are somewhat flexible, but the desire to spend isn't there without strong reason to do it. 


At this size, we start seeing a separation between the needs of the business and the employees that do the work, where procedures and policies guide the overall direction.  Getting in early with Business Process Management will shine light on gaps or inefficiencies early, and lay foundation for future employees.

Assuming the business is willing to undertake the journey, the Agility Billing model is likely to be the easiest for them to manage, not just from a budget perspective, but also the flexibility of adjusting for things that aren't working for the users.

Large business ( > 500 employees)

These are the most challenging, being honest.  It's because their organization is mature, they've gone through multiple pains, they've dealt with disruption and adjusted, and various people (knowledge) come and gone.  They're most likely to spend money, but not on services like the ones we offer, because of the belief that their people (that they pay big money for already) should know how to do it (or build it).

We're not here to take work from your existing people.  We're here to work with your people.  Those people are working with bias - the bias of the existing job, not of a potential future.  That means being less receptive to changes that could risk their job, and (whether intentionally or not) blocking any attempt to improve beyond what they personally want to see changed.

When we approach a large business, we will level set immediately.  Adoption, acceptance and tolerance all have to be in play.  It's change, and our job is to convince the business that the change is worth doing, even if we're not the ones doing the work.  

We don't generally recommend a billing model for large businesses, because each one tends to prefer something different.  We can safely say that almost every service we offer, generally speaking, will add value, and we may even lead in with Windows 7 Migration Consulting, because if nothing else, we want to mitigate the risks associated with legacy operating systems.
